Problem with monitor

    Hi - I've got a new Dell Vostro with Win7 (integrated graphics) - I've tried to connect it to a ViewSonic monitor (model VX1945WM-3). Monitor powers up okay but screen blacks out after about 3 seconds - it shows image onscreen and 'auto image adjust' message then goes black so I know connector cable is working - what am I doing wrong?

    The first thing you are doing wrong is posting your issue under announcements and rules. :) No harm done as I am moving it to Windows 7. What model Dell do you have? Provost is just a series.
