    Last weekend, one of my best friends got married. I recorded her whole wedding with the HD camcorder. Many other friends, who lived in other cities and did not take part in the wedding, asked me to upload the videos to Youtube so that they can enjoy the great happiness. I tried to share the videos but I failed, with the warning that “the format of my videos (MTS) is not supported by Youtube”. How could I change the format of the videos and then transfer to Youtube?

    Hi. You will have to find a video convertor that converts MTS to a File format accepted by Youtube.

    "Any Video Convertor" is freeware and should convert for you.

    Youtube accepted File formats are;

    "WebM files - Vp8 video codec and Vorbis Audio codecs
    .MPEG4, 3GPP and MOV files - Typically supporting h264, mpeg4 video codecs and AAC audio codec
    .AVI - Many cameras output this format - typically the video codec is MJPEG and audio is PCM
    .MPEGPS - Typically supporting MPEG2 video codec and MP2 audio
    .WMV
    .FLV - Adobe-FLV1 video codec, MP3 audio"
