Problem installing Windows Installer 4.5 update

    I receive this error. There is sufficient space available. I am trying to
    install KB942288. Without this I cannot install SQL server 2008.

    Not sure if this will be helpful, but the error message about not enough
    storage makes me think that it might be related to IRPStackSize.
