Windows 7 Dell Laptop, Brother HL-L2340 printer, Canon MP270 scanner. Scanned 23 pages from book and saved in MP Navigator 3.0. Made IMG files saved as 23 PDF files. Maybe right, maybe not. Tried printing. I could find no option for printing all unless open each one and print it. Open, print, close, each of 23 PDF's. Am I doing something wrong? Or is PDF the correct file type and must be opened and printed one at a time?
If I print other online documents I can select many and click print and it prints them all. Looked through instructions but didnt find or recognize how to open an print all in one operation. So far it looks like I have to open and print each one. Do not really want to scan all again. Never have been good at this.
I know I could have just used the Canon to copy, reinsert page and copy the other side but run risk of ink smudges. I wanted to use the scanner to get into PC then batch print two sides per sheet. But now think maybe should have save in JPG file type. I think before when did scans they were in JPG and I printed them. But these just somehow saved as PDF. Plan to continue one at a time until done, but maybe someone who knows could say if I should have saved to JPG? Or what. When I get this done I will experiment some more.

Software that comes with these scanners isn't all that great. If you want a scanner that can scan in a multi-page document, look else where. I use a ScanSnap ix500. One of the best purchases I've ever made.

Hoped I would get back before someone replied. My own fault. I set the scanner incorrectly and should have saved as IMG_0024.jpg, not pdf. I used to use other laptop for this and had not set the preferences on this one. Tried AutoScan and save as jpg, and Scan and save as jpg, then printed both, one on front, other on back. Back to school for me I guess. Sorry to bother. Never did get to understand more then the basic scanning and printing.

Thank Heaven there is a forum, Cindy. I certainly have too much to do, not enough time in which to do it, try to do it all right, and barely scratch the surface as far as knowledge and lore goes. As result usually find that most of my woes are due to haste and wind up looking and feeling stupid. Thanks for the encouragement. I feel it happens to me much more often than I would prefer.
