Port Forwarding

    Update: same issues as when started the thread. Decided to hardwire into the modem (Arris cm820a...a pretty dated device). I had all the issues I've had all along. So I guess the other night when I ran ping tests and showed no issues when wired to the modem it was a false positive result.
    Called ISP. they show no issues. But said that modem is pretty old and are going to come replace it with a newer model today or tomorrow. Unfortunately I can't choose my own modem.

    Let's see how this goes.

    It's a modem they are supposed to replace but we've had 8-10 inches of snow this week so no dice yet. Routers are good. All devices dropping connection here and there now, not just the wired Xbox. Very confident it's the modem.
