Plex's streaming app is now completely free to use on PS4 and Xbox One

    Plex, the popular media streaming app, is now free on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The app launched on both consoles in preview for paying Plex Pass customers, but now their core functionality is available to everyone at no cost. If you've got a massive media library on your PC or Mac, all it takes is registering an account, installing Plex's media server app on a PC or NAS, downloading the app for your respective console, and then going through the quick setup process.

    Plex will play almost any format that you throw at it, and you'll be able to stream all of that media to the TV, smartphones, tablets, and wherever else a Plex app exists. The best part might be how it organizes all your stuff, automatically pulling down high-res media...
