    Hi Right

you seem to have a 500Gb Hard Drive, that windows is only seeing 277GB of the 9Gb will be a hidden partition with a back up image of your HDD for doing a factory reset.

OK under the disk management window if you right click on the 173Gb partition (Blue Arrow) you should get a drop down window like this

First off try changing the drive letter (Green Arrow)

sorry just being knocking up the Graphic, that's why it took so long

OK just took a carefull look at your pictures, you have created a EISA partition, these are normally used by Manufacturers to create a hidden recovery partion like the 9Gb one you already have, as I am stuck for time I found these Instructions for removing it.

hopefully this will sort it for you, any problems or questions feel free to ask, going for dinner back in about 40 mins

Going to try that command line thingy now, seems promising...
The question begs, though, how did it turn into that?...
Anyways, thanks in advance, trying now...

Let us know how you get on, be carefull not to remove the 9 or 3 Gb partitions as they are important for doing a restore to factory settings restore.
