Outlook 2003, Cached Mode or not for TS users?

I would like to know if there is some clear indication as to how to
setup Outlook on a terminal server - I've always permitted cached mode,
but we took over another system and the settings disallow cached mode...

What am I missing - is there a corruption risk, other risk, threat,
performance hit for allowing cached mode for users on a 2003 terminal
server using Outlook 2003 with all updates/patches?

For Office 2003 on a Windows 2003 TS, cached mode is never allowed (it is
greyed out actually). Not sure about 2007.

Thanks - I don't recall seeing that before and what's strange is that it
stops the use of the "Junk Mail" option - you can't use "Junk Mail"
function in outlook unless you're in cache mode, at least according to
the outlook errors.

I just checked my Outlook 2007 systems on TS and the option is
unavailable there also - strange that I've never noticed this before.
