Had a great family night out tonight.
Because we originally come from the Midlands, some of the family are still 'Northamton Saints' supporters.
Because we now live in Wales, some of the family are now 'Ospreys' supporters.
So what better than a family night out watching 'Ospreys v Saints.
Some of the family were going to come away winners. :D

Freezing cold evening, but that didn't matter.
    It was a good game.
One thing that was commented on...........
No fan segregation, opposing fans sitting next to each other drinking alcohol and having a laugh!
This would never happen at a football match!
In fact, the liberty stadium only allows alcohol in the seats during Rugby matches! ... says it all.
Then we all went home had a few more drinks and food.
Should make more of family get togethers.

Having lived in the shadow of Thomond Park (well not that close but close enough) for almost 9 years I can attest to the fact that the Ospreys and the Saints are both nice little teams. Then there is MUNSTER!!!!

But you are right, there is a certain aura about a Rugby match that makes one wonder why anyone would tolerate your soccer hooligans. Sounds like a great day!

Nothing to do with the game (who I know zip about)- but go Wales go!!! (I can say that because my Mother was born there :) - and I honestly think it's one of the most beautiful places on this earth).

So happy you and your family had a great night out together, starbuck!

And now that I am back in the States and my Yankees have won the World Series (hence the temporary avatar) I am satisfied. Unfortunately my Giants have been imploding but the season is not lost yet.
