Greetings all. My wife, who uses her computer "maybe" once a week is having email messages that are months old downloaded to her Windows Live email program everytime she opens her email. I know that there is an option somewhere in the options/settings where I can UNclick the option to have the messages saved to the server so I can check to see if this option is selected. I can't find where it is. Can someone point to it for me? Thanks all.

Hi Sarge, open Windows live mail and click on "Accounts" at the top of the page, then select "Properties" again at the top, the window that opens select the advanced tab, at the bottom is "Delivery" and the tick box you mean, for "Leave a copy of messages on server" Remove the tick if it is there and all messages should then be removed from the server.

    Hope that helps,

    Nev.

Didn't see a "Delivery" option. I tried to attach and copy paste a screen shot for you to see but it doesn't appear on the reply here.

Hi Sarge, click on the "More reply options" button, scroll down you should see Attach Files, click on "Choose Files", then navigate round your computer for the screen shot.
It should look something like this.
