Must have done something wrong. Now I cannot open Notepads anymore. Now if I try to open a Notepad I get a screen saying "Windows Photo Viewer cannot open this file. I must click on OPEN at top then choose Program and select Notepad and then it opens but I cannot find a wat to set it so it opens when I click the Notepad icon. Can anyone help? I must do this wit every notepad now. If I right-click file and select open with then select Notepad it opens but then I must do this each time. How do I fix this so it opens EVERY time I click the notepad icon? This never happened before. Now I cannot directly open a notepad file like before.
It seems I must reset Notepads to open when I click the Notepad but now it seems set for Windows Photo Viewer. How do I set it back like it was?
I need to set it so notepads open when I click Notepads. How do I do this? I have not yet found the way. Notepads must be the default when I click A Notepad icon.
I can find Wordpad in the list of Default Programs but do not see a Notepad in the list. Need HELP. I Can NOT find Notepad in the list- how do I find NOTEPAD in the Control Panel listings?

I THINK I finally found it. It successfully opened SIX Notepad text files so I think it is OK now.

Still working well. At 7:23 pm. In the above post there are some typos-Line #3 says "find a wat" which should be WAY, line #5 says "do this wit" which should be "with", and I see no more right now.

Maybe once I have done a scan and no threats found, I do not really need to save a copy. Just close or delete it. I never go back and read or look at the scans especially if nothing adverse is found. So why even keep a copy of them?

There is no need to save a copy of a clean scan, Bill.

On my g mail inbox list there is a list of messages. Before each item there is a square box and a star after it. If I hover the hand pointer over it , it says "not starred. Can someone tell me what this starred and un-starred means?

No way to fix. Stop trying to use it. The app is retired and will not be able to be downloaded.
