Hello, I've been considering replacing the many small capacity hard drives I've had lying around my house with only several large capacity hard drives. This is due to the fact that most of them are in external enclosures and I would like to simplify this process by having the larger hard drives in removable trays that I could use to move from computer to computer. I am currently thinking about purchasing two 1tb + hard drives and two internal hot-swappable racks, with several additional trays – just in case.

The hard drive types I'm thinking about:

    The rack I'm thinking about:

And the tray I'm thinking about:

The above are just examples and are not final decisions. If someone comes up with a better idea, that would be awesome. For the hard drives, I need something very stable because a previous purchase of a Hitachi hard drive left me with what is essentially an expensive brick and I would like to avoid this again. The rack/tray in the above links seem to be OK, but I would rather get something that doesn’t use the hard drive connectors but rather the trays, especially if I will be removing them constantly. Any suggestions are welcome and I look forward to any ideas on the subject.
