I know, Rich, I know. My computer room is all black stainless steel and wood laminate.
It offends my sense of color and style. :jump:

If it makes you feel any better, my Windows phone is white. :funny:

BTW, Your case actually looks like it's a cream color, not white.

Actually in the fashion world as you well know. black and white go together as the most fashionable combination regardless of season! (Bet you didn't forsee that one?)
Actually it is very white but that last photo has the color all off. Actually if you look at first 4 photo o809 is the actual color and it is white white for real.

As good a reason as any not to own an iPhone or iPad! I like the insides of that case but the front panel and the color scheme don't appeal.

I see in the one picture it does look very white, now that you have pointed that one out.

In the last picture it looks cream colored next to the white post it paper and the white label on the WD hard drive.

I have nothing white at all in my computer room. Even the window blinds aren't white.

I actually like the case (in black) and especially the sata drive port at the top of the case.

    I can't stand the white.

The sata drive port on top actually was the main reason I bought the case actually because I was able to take 1 usb docking station off my desk and get by with only 1. Around here every inch of space counts, well you know you saw it before the renovation and all the renovation did was stuff what you saw in 2 rooms into one!
That tray works great as whoever designed this case really knew what they were doing. That tray is designed to handle a 2.5 drive or a 3.5 drive perfectly. I am not sure I have ever seen such a well designed case actually and yes the first photo, the white white is the real color. The first series was taken with my Nikon camera and the last one was the iPhone which really has no white balance. The quality of the iPhone photo is excellent outside but not so good inside because of the lack of white balance you can do on better cameras.

How boring if everyone liked the same colour, same everything in life.
All my cases are black. I saw a red case at the computer shop that caught my eye.

True Dougie, I remember a few years ago I had an orange case, a red case and a black case in my office and they all made the room so much more cheerful.

That case is awesome looking. I buy color wherever it is available and I do like Red, Orange and slime green a lot because they brighten up the room, and of course it probably is keyed into my fashion wear background anyway as I am an ex retail womenswear buyer and not the cheap stuff either!
I once bought 3 cases from Startech in red, mustard and slime green and used all 3 in the shop. I hated to sell those but its what I do eventually anyway after they are a few years old I sell them as used pcs and build new. I kept the "fire engine red" one the longest! BTW notice the survey at the top of your post there on OC Forum showing white the most used color tied with black!

Hope you don't mind, Rich. I took most of the colour cast out of the photo of your new rig and now I think it looks much better.Compare the images side by side.

Mind, Hell no I should have thought of that you made it look a lot better Dougie! I don't have to look back I can see it right away as that is the actual color.

You know I normally hate those transparent windows sides because they are so flimsy but this one is thick and solid so the side doesn't wobble when you put it on. I just cannot get over the attention to quality and I am going to have trouble buying my normal "build" cases from here on. I don't know if you can see it but the white octagons on the front are lined in red and you can barely see that in the photo but of course looking at it on my desk it is quite evident. And really the case was not expensive at all at $60. The only thing I dislike is the drives turned the wrong way because it means you have to take both sides off the case to do anything to the drives.

Scroll down to P.28 here in this google book result. It's a Maximum PC article "Build It" (starts on page 22 though) I used all of the parts on that guide and followed it to the T. I also used the Enlight case in that article which is beige. It was my very 1st real gaming build. This goes back to 2002-2003.

here is a good pic of the case I had.

You very may well have it was very popular during that era. I also used Enlight power supplies for a few years. I replaced the Soyo board with the ECS K7S5A - the one that wont the best board for socket A users in that era for stability. The Soyo was better on paper for sure but was unstable at times. SIS chipset was slightly slower but way more reliable. No funny VIA PCI latency issues.
