On my computer that runs windows xp there is a file under my documents, all it has is some squares as the file name and everytime I try to delete it it just comes back. I've run multiple virus and malware scans and they always come up clean. As of right now I don't think it's harming my computer at all, more of an annoyance

    Try scanning in Safe Mode.
The full scans will be slow.
If nothing shows up we will get our Malware specialists to take over.
What programs are you scanning with?

This one is actually another one of our work computers. I am not sure what the virus scanner is, the IT guy used that and the malware bytes program and didn't find anything, it has him stumped also

Just a thought, but take a look in the control panel an see if there is anything when you look at the installed items. If so then select to uninstall it.

    Thanks

As no further post on this, I take it the problem was solved.

    Thanks
