    Power Supply:
    Seasonic 600Watt
    I agree is some respects, but not in others.
    The 'best' can only be defined by what you plan to use the system/machine for.

    An all singing all dancing desktop PC will not cut it when it comes to a basic server for example.

    The machine has to be fit for purpose yes, and to a degree you want to keep options open for future use, having 8GB of RAM is great is you render images/videos, but there are not many programs that can even utilise quad core let alone octo core ships (physical or logical makes no difference :p )

    Be mindful of the future but not at the expense of the present :D

    My current laptop is 8 years old.

    When I buy again, I intend it to last.
