I have a two way forest trust. I can browse files on a external trusted
domain controller(server A) but when I go to browse files on a external
trusted member server(server [IMG] I get a "no logon servers available" error .
I can ping both servers by hostname. I am using secondary zones to transfer
records between trusts. It seems intermittent but has gotten worse however I
don't think it is networking because I can connect to domain controller and
users from remote domain in trust can connect back to this trust's various
    servers without a problem.

A "No long servers are available" can indicate a misconfigured trust, DNS,
or NetBIOS. When one connects from one domain to a trusted domain's
resource, the authentication request will use pass-through authentication
from the connecting user's DC to the DC of the other domain. This is all
    based on NetBIOS.

This could also be a browser service issue, since direct connections work
(UNC or mapped drives), but connecting through a browsed resource doesn't.

Are you using WINS oin both domains, and have a WINS replication partnership
    between the WINS servers?

Any errors in the event logs on any of the DC?
