New Notebook????

    HI---Just got my new notebook ----Question---Can I plug just the power in to view the users guide, without conecting to my satilite.
    Just want to make sure.

    If it's Windows 7 then as soon as it is turned on, then it will detect any WiFi Networks and try and connect to the internet, of course if you have a secure network it will need passwords :D if you just want to plug it into a power supply to charge the battery, that shouldn't connect it to anything.

    S0---is the only way to view the users guide is is to be connectected to the Internet? I was thinking it was in the computer itself---kinda like working off line.
    If I have to get it online. will have to wait till tommorrow so I can hook up new router, etc.. :eek:

    If your after Windows 7 Help files, then it should have some inside, if your after the user manual, post the make and model and I'll post a link to it for you ;)

    That's only because finding information on a 10 year old machine is a pain as they seem to hide the links to it :(

    But new machines it's normally a walk in the park, :snckr: don't suppose you need parks by where you live :D
