Amazing capabilities however I think if there is another World War it will be fought from the air.
    Good read.

Agreed air superiority is the main thing nowadays, still that sub (assuming it is silent enough to go along coastlines without being detected) would make short work of land based targets with those cruise missiles.

Still amazes me at the processing capabilities of some systems, they mentioned this about the sonar system Her listening ability is quite awesome. She has a sonar system with the processing power of 2,000 laptop computers.'.

That was fascinating to read and see the cut-a-way detail of the inside of the sub, Doug.

Just dreaming, I know, but wouldn't it be lovely if "do no harm to others" was a way of life and things like this weren't needed.

All that aside, I'd not be able to clearly imagine the sheer size, let alone the inner design of a sub ... it really is fascinating in so many ways - thanks, Doug - a good one!

That's an easy peasy question to answer :snckr: , Because it wasn't built in Liverpool!

My question is, Is a few high tech expensive war machines, better than a few thousand low tech cheap easy to build weapons, reference the Zulu Wars, Russian front WWII, Vietnam. It would seem to me that WWIII will be fought through Economics and Oil, reference the Iraq invasion of Kuwait and the resulting increase in Oil prices, and the resulting effect on world economies, It seems to me that the quickest cheapest way to bring a country to it's knee's is financially. and then be first in-line with an aid/Bail out package.
