New Intel Socket 1151 Skylake Reviews are up!

I cannot tell you how many enthusiasts I built for I made a change on the build. When I asked them if they overclock or if they would like to they usually say no but I would like to. Which means, all they really needed was a well built board and brand that would allow a moderate overclock but it would be very stable like an Asus Sabertooth for example. Though the Sabertooth is an extremely good board It's not going to run an FX 8350 any more stable than the board you built with Rich, up to around 4.2 GHZ maybe a bit more. Anything after that yes you need a better board like the Sabertooth or Asus CHV for 24/7 stability because of the heat and TDP of 140W+ under load that an FX 8350 can at times generate.

So I usually build with the same type of board you built with in that forum post If someone tells me that they have overlocked before and they want a high overlock with an 8 core AMD processor I will use either the Asus Sabertooth, or Crosshair Formula V (if they can afford it) or the MSI 990FX GD80 which I can only get on Ebay now. An H100i Corsair unit included as well.

 

Yeah those customers for me are part of a dream I have that is recurrent, because I so seldom see them!
