Hello JimmyPlox and Welcome to CHF.

Are you planning on replacing the power supply? This particular video card requires a minimum of a 400 watt PSU.
The Aspire X3400 comes with a standard 220 watt power supply. As for the fit, it doesn't look as if there is enough
space (height or width) in the slimline case.

It really doesn't look like you have enough space. The slimline case is really compact.
It's not really setup to upgrade or customize anything.

Would there possibly be any way that i can modify the roof of the case so i can fit it? And i've seen a couple videos, and actually a friend upgrade his acer slim model. Im just not sure about this particular card.

Some of the compact PC cases do come with Daughter boards that allow you to add full size cards, looking at the case picture it isnt clear whether this has the ability for it though, as the card looks like it would clash with the CPU fan.
These cases really are not designed for upgrades other than CPU and RAM

If I were you and wanting to upgrade the GPU, but another case and add the MOBO and associated parts to that

I have little to no experience removing the MOBO, or anything else with that matter. I've only ever removed my HDD to replace it. Would you reccomend be bringing it to a shop to get it replaced into a bigger case?

If you are not confident doing this then it would make sense.
Phone 2 or 3 places and ask for a quote.
You are better going to a small, local tech than a large concern like PC World.

The process is not that difficult - but you do need to be confident in your ability to do it.
