Hey guys, I'm planning to get a new custom built PC for gaming soon and wanted to check if all of these are compatible and any intelligent comments about my choices:
Note that the game I am most interested in is LOTRO (online MMO) with graphics at high settings.

    Intel Core i5 7500 Kabylake 3.4GHz 6MB

    MSI Z170M MORTAR LGA1151 DDR4 mATX Motherboard
    or
MSI H270 GAMING M3 LGA1151 ATX Desktop Motherboard

    Corsair 8GB Kit (2x4GB) DDR4 Vengeance LPX Black C14 2400MHz

Corsair Force Series LE 240GB 2.5" SSD

    MSI GeForce GTX1060 Gaming X 6GB GDDR5

GamerChief Essent E101 Mid Tower Case

Corsair RM650x 650W 80PLUS Gold Modular Power Supply

i think that u should consider buying a 1 piece 8GB ram, u are just wasting your RAM slot for a 4gb ram. and im not gonna comment on the other part because its completely perfect. only one thing, isn't the graphic card is too high for you?

    Hi ularkusut.
The advice you have given is incorrect on all counts.
Haven't you heard of the advantages of dual channel Ram eg 2X4 GIG sticks over 1X 8GIG stick single channel?
For intensive Gaming there is no card too high. You buy the best Graphics card one can afford, even 2 Cards
running in SLI or Crossfire. PSU must be strong enough for the selected card or cards.
Please be sure of your advice before Posting.
    Thanks.:)

Thank you both for your replies.
Dougie, thanks for clearing that up about the RAM.
And I agree, I could possibly run LOTRO on high settings on a slightly inferior card, however,
the GTX 1060 is the best value graphics card per dollar spent that I am aware of.
Many LOTRO players (and myself included) have suffered so much frustrating lag,
and I don't want to suffer it anymore as a result of inferior hardware.
That's the main reason I'm planning to buy the computer.

Just one more question for anyone knowledgable:
Would it be worthwhile getting the:
MSI H270M MORTAR ARCTIC LGA1151 mATX Desktop Motherboard
The name implies superior cooling, but I don't know if this is just a marketing ploy.

Looking at the benchmark of 12980 in one benchmark test the GTX1060 out performed some more expensive cards.
You made a good choice/ price IMO.
I haven't got time to check to boards out , as it's near midnight here.
There are other Techies that may have a look into the board specs and how much and what speeds each board can accommodate in the mean time.
I am always wary of sales gimmicks.

I wouldn't even think of using a motherboard in a Gaming Computer, and use less than 16GIG's of high speed Ram.

i'm sorry, my apology. because i dont really know about those 2x4 ram, i just thought that if we save the slot, we can upgrade with more size, example 2x8gb.

No Gaming Computer should have less than 16GIG's of high speed Ram. 2X8 GIG sticks, I agree.
The point I was making was using Dual channel rather than 1 single channel is far better.
Better to buy the correct Ram now, rather than having to upgrade later.

I have studied the Specs on the two Motherboards and read a lot of reviews.
My pick out of the two motherboards is the MSI H270 Gaming M3

I would buy 2X8gig sticks of 2400 speed Ram now.

I strongly recommend Water Cooling over Air Cooling.
Your CPU will fry without extra cooling.
I recommend the Deepcool Maelstrom 120T over any Coolermaster offerings.
The Maelstrom single fan 120T has amazing cooling qualities.
They also have softer hoses which is helpful in assembly and puts less drag on the CPU.
I now have three of these in Gaming computers and more than happy.

Gold Modular is a good choice but I wouldn't consider anything less than 800-850 watt in case you ever wanted to add an extra Card.

    Hope this Helps.
