Hey everyone, I just built a new gaming rig and everything went well. unfortunately when I booted up the computerit did not show on the monitor and a continuousound occured that sounds like the processor turning itself back on. At first I thought I had a bad processor but after a few tries it will boot up windows 7 64 bit perfectly fine. Could it be faulty RAM? The RAM i am using is corsair vengeance 2 4 gigs that were prviously in a computer that had a burnt up processor.

I am running a new ivy bridge i5 3770k with a gigabyte board and a corsair enthusiast series 650 watt power supply.

Maybe the voltage is off for the RAM?

    Worried the processor is bad.
