New C9 editor feature: split quote?

Not sure if it's possible to implement this in some future version of C9, but I just realized that it would be convenient if there was a button that would split a quote at the current cursor position. Right now, you have to manually insert [/quote] [quote user="Blargh"] in the editor at the point where you want to split somebody else's quote. It'd be much easier if you could do that through the press of a button.

Thoughts?
