If the allegations are true then she deserves to win and be compensated. That being said her claim for damages is a bit extreme. I would say that $27 million would do just fine but then who knows what the state of the Aussie Dollar is these days. :snckr:

Personally I think that this really needs to be addressed with legislation, why should one person get to live comfortably for the rest of there life because the person that done them wrong can afford to pay millions in compensation, when a woman that is raped and beaten by a drunken bum gets didley, is that fair and just or would it make more sense that payments on this scale be put into a central trust fund and used to compensate the less fortunate as well?

but then again if she knew all she stood to gain was couple of hundred $ would she have willingly jumped into bed with him, or point blankly refused to be put in a compromising position and wore tight clothing that prevented anyone from making skin to skin contact, I might have understood things wrong but if her blouse was tucked into the waist of her trousers or skirt then it would have made it impossible for someone to put their hand up her back and touch her bra strap.

the truth is though we will never truly know the truth and that the question of was He to blame, or was she just being cleaver and giving him opportunity, with the intention of suing for her own personal gain. and the sad fact of this is, that Money has perverted justice. if he is guilty of the accusations then surely he should face criminal charges. but because she has now got millions in compensation and he has lost his job then then he is now free, but if he is incapable of controlling his actions there is the real possibility that someone else may get hurt worse next time.

I agree DSTM this sue sue sue mentality needs to stop and be replaced with a fair and just compensation system.

I agree,Match. This is stupid compensation if she wins.

She wasn't indecently assaulted, raped, disfigured, set on fire, held prisoner in a dungeon for years and Raped and tortured.

I have seen cases 100 times worse and got near nothing.

She probably egged him on,liked the attention shown her,and wants an insane sum of money Compensation.

Who are the real losers in this. The Shareholders and all the of us who buy from this large chain of stores.Prices will increase even more.

She could have rejected his advances, said no and meant it .Even left her job, where she would be entitled to lost wages by law,

People like this, who want to make millions, without even a Days work, make me sick. We all pay in the end,for the greed of this woman. Time to change the law.

Barry. Aust Dollar is worth 90Cents US at the moment.. :)
