    For Avira users ...

Routine scans may pop up a warning about 64 HIDDEN OBJECTS.
This is in the first portion of the scan, prior to full file scan.
This is the result of a recent MICROSOFT UPDATE.
The MS KB2679255 hot fix is the culprit.
You can remove the offending update or just choose to temporarily ignore it.
The scan will pause until you choose an action to resume.

The scan will recommend you download, burn and run the Avira Rescue CD.
Don't waste your time, it doesn't help.

Avira is working with Microsoft to correct the problem and the offending update.
