After updating WMP to v9.0 I cannot retrieve any MPEG file on my computer. Only MPEGs (for example I have no problem with AVI files).
Some of MPEGs are reported as "damaged" by system and some of them have no sound.
I attempted to render MPEG files with GSpot and obtained error message like:

"Failed to connect to Output Pin [pin No] on [filename] with Input Pin [pin No] on filter [filter No]. Connect Direct () failed. Error [errorcode]: There is no common media type between these pins."

Windows Media Player displays error no 0xC00D1199 (0x00000000).

I reinstalled all the codecs (video, audio) that I have. I run Winodws Update. I tried to use some solutions found in internet but as far - no one of them was good for me.

    HELP!

Have you tried another player (ie, WinAmp)? WMP has a bad habit of getting to be more difficult to use as the version number increases.
