Moving c:\windows\installer to another drive or UNC path?

Hi,

I have lost a blog entry which explain how to move the installer content to
a UNC path to recover (a lot) of space on the system drive.

Does anyone has some information about this procedure?

just 1 other point
I have allready run the cleanup tool to recover some space.

but I really want to know how to change the xdefault folder and move
existing content anywhere else...
