As the title says, my monitor, keyboard, and mouse won't connect on my desktop. I have tried unplugging them all, turning off the computer, removing a powersupply within the computer and readding it, and dusting off everything inside. it appears to be the computer, and not the peripherals, because i have tested and know that the keyboard and mouse work on another computer. Any help will be greatly appreciated, fore this is frustrating me greatly. The Fans are working, what would indicate the PSU working, the LEDs on the comp turning on? because they do.
    it is made by iBuyPower.

EDIT. Remove link to another Tech Site. DSTM

Since a link had to be removed by DSTM I kid of get the impression that the initial post MAY have been a spam attempt but I sort of tend to treat a post as legit until it is actually declared otherwise... besides, for some sick reason I kind of sorta like motherboard issues. ;)

BTW, welcome to the forums. :)

First, as you were able to test the mouse and keyboard on another system do the same with the monitor just to cover basics.

I don't know anything about iBuyPower but will assume that they make custom systems or, at least, systems that they put together and are not a re-seller putting out reconditioned Dells and such.

Since you probably can't supply a known make and model for the system we will need individual system component specifications. We will need the make and model of the motherboard, power supply, video and anything else that you can supply.

Just because LEDs and such light up and fans spin does not mean that the power supply is OK. Not does it mean that the motherboard is OK. Both USB and a monitor have a need for a 5 volt source. Either through the power supply or the motherboard there could be an issue with the 5 volt lines and fans and lights could still function.

If the hardware is duplicated to where the system has video built on to the motherboard and also a separate card you could try switching monitor connections.

If there is more than one memory card, or stick if you prefer, try one at a time. A faulty memory card could cause all the symptoms that you describe.
