Just to let you know young Cindy E, that i approached a tech guy at Best Buy,
and he confirmed that the memory stick i was looking at, at Amazon is what i need.
I have ordered it and all being well, it should be here on Sunday. I will get it
    installed asap. Thanks for everything.
    Note for IJAC:
Interesting read about the Celeron Processor. It might have been a good idea to try
and update my CPU, but i figured that if extra memory will help, then that`s all i need.
If i was interested in updating the CPU, i may have gone and bought a newer laptop, that
has all the "bells and whistles" on it, but firstly, as this laptop was a gift, and second, i
really don`t want to worry about transferring all my data off this and putting it all back
on another computer, i figured i would just go with an extra 4GB of memory, and be happy
    with it all.
    Thanks to you.

I totally understand I was just providing some info for you in case it wasn't what you expect. Like I said when you get the memory installed and it works fine for you that is all that matters. Good luck on the upgrade and if you need any more help please just post back any time.
