Microsoft offers its Chinese factory workers a Lumia 630 to quit

    Microsoft is offering thousands of Chinese factory workers a free Nokia Lumia 630 Windows Phone if they apply for a volunteer resignation package. The software maker is cutting around 4,700 jobs at a former Nokia handset factory in Beijing, but the plans have generated protests recently. As a result, Microsoft is trying to tempt workers to resign on a "first come, first serve" basis with an offer of the Lumia 630. The same employees work in the factory helping manufacture Nokia handsets.
