You beat me to that and you live on the other side of the planet, but what chance do I stand when your 10hrs ahead of us lol

suppose I had better leave my PC on then.

Makes me wonder if it has anything to do with this

I stand even less of a chance, Match, as our Dougie is 15 hours ahead of me (hard enough for us :) - but truly a mind-boggling task to explain to a child how we can all the breathing at the same time but tomorrow is our today and yesterday was two days ago elsewhere, etc - makes me want to pop a long straw into a tall wine bottle - grin).

Out of curiosity, is there an easy way to check to ensure the download arrived on one's computer?

Any idea what the update was called, Match?

Dougie was kind enough to let me know where to look within the add/delete section - but while I may have missed it, can't spot anything that's been updated lately. (Wouldn't it be lovely if we could get the wee section to show 'by date' :)).

Thanks so much, Bob! Have run Belarc ... it showed Microsoft Security Updates were 'up-to-date'.

Still, the Belarc page had a section for 'click here for Microsoft updates' ... wandered over there, it did a scan of my computer ... and it showed 15 critical updates needed. So, rather safe than sorry, I've downloaded the entire lot :).

Will have to wander off to the section with some security questions though - discovered that Belarc gave me a Security Score of only 3.13 out of 10, even though my Virus Protection is 'up-to-date' - yikes!
