Microsoft flaunts its product stats and pizza consumption with Live Tiles

Like many other companies, Microsoft regularly boasts about its stats in blog posts, at conferences, and elsewhere. This week the software maker is unveiling a new "Microsoft by the Numbers" site that collates all of the vital stats into a single site. There's everything from 400 million Outlook.com users to 76 million Xbox 360 consoles, and the 554,000 pizza slices consumed on each year in Microsoft cafeterias.

Although you won't find any stats about the decline of the PC industry, or slow Surface sales, the Live Tile-equipped site does serve as a central location to demonstrate the broad depth of the company's businesses. If you ever needed reminding of just how big Microsoft is, then this is a good place to start.
