Just make sure that your system is recognizing the 2 gigs of RAM. This will not be exact as some of your RAM will be dedicated to your graphics but if it shows substantially less than the 2 gigs there is something wrong.

Try another browser such as Firefox, if nothing more than to see if there's a difference.

On the page file, although Barry suggestion is proper, I like to set it to System Managed and leave it alone.

I don't disagree with you Dragnet on the system managed setting as I have had advice both ways myself. What I do know is that having it set at 2000 for 2 gigs pretty much eliminates any virtual memory.

Hi Dragnet. This is what is so weird.
When the System is going OK, it loads quite Fast.
    My principal Browser, is Opera.
    I have FireFox also.
IE, is normally slower than Opera, or FireFox, on my System.
If it slows again,I will immediately open FireFox,and see if the loading time improves.
    Thanks for everyone's help.:)

If you set the pagefile manually the rule is 1.5 to 3 times as max and min values for XP, but looking at the pagefile useage (500MB ish) I doubt this is your problem.

Do you have any scanner set to run on a regular basis, like SAS or AVG. Also I wonder if there is some kind of update activity going on that slows your system down. If you could have Task Manager running on the Networking Tab it may help you identify any additional network traffic when things go slow.

Does it happen on the Windows 7 install - if not, then I guess its not hardware related as both OS's are installed on the same hardware.

    Very strange

    Hi DirtyPolo.
I have no scans set to run on a regular Basis. All I run manually.
Updates are done manually, except for Antivir, once every 24 hrs.
AntiVir alerts me, when doing an update.

Will have Networking Tab open in Task Manager, and hope it shows something.

Have Windows7, but haven't used it for any extended period of time,
so can't say if the problem is there also.

I will test for a couple of days and see what happens.
    Thanks for your advice.:)

Nope not one bit unless you start using some really heavy programs

    No problems Doug,

if you start using resource heavy apps - chances are it will be your CPU and GPU that will become a bottleneck before the amount of RAM does
