    Running 2003 Server R2 Enterprise SP1 on a BL20P G3. Bios recognizes all 8GB
of memory installed in machine. Windows only recognizes 3.5 GB. I was under
the impression Enterprise will recognize 64 GB. What am I doing wrong?

  2. Hello ,
Is your machine 32 or 64 bits? Windows OS will only recognize max 4GB for 32
bits..If your system is 64 bit, then you may have to install 64 bits OS
version (2003 Server R2 Enterprise 64 bits version) to be able to see all
    8GB of memory.

You need to be running in PAE mode.

2003 enterprise 32bit actually goes up to 64GB, according to Microsoft.

  5. you are correct

w2k3 enterprise supports up to 32GB and w2k3 Datacenter supports upto 64GB
    both using the PAE feature
