I have no interest in politics, but I did admire the iron lady...sad news.

It would seem to be sad news for some and good news for others. Though I was glad when she was deposed as PM due to her policies and the ruination they caused for far too many people, that was the time to be happy, not now.
I feel those who are rejoicing that she has died are a lot more than just unfeeling.

In her later years I believe she was suffering dementia and certainly not well with other things so a little sympathy is more my thoughts.

I am with you Frank as I am not a very political person, but I did admire her in that she and Winston Churchill were probably the best 2 Prime Ministers Britain had in the 20th century. We all know what Winny did during the second world war. :D

There really does not seem to be much to be gained by either demonizing her or declaring her a saint. She was what she was and her impact on history is undeniable. RIP

She was a tough old bird Barry, no denying that. They didn't call her the iron lady for nothing. ;)
