11:30 am. Just deleted 2 Spams. One was new. The other was the Sirius account which I never had nor paid and another threat to remove it. I just delete and forget. Until the next pops up.

I thought I just read somewhere that it said NOT to block the spam or report it but just delete them. I will have to check that out again tomorrow.
I just deleted 8 more tonight. Have to watch the video again.

You did not read that here! Three or four of us have told you to mark it as spam. If you do not, the emails will continue coming to your inbox, just like legitimate emails.

I guess I just do not know how to mark it as spam and report it. At first someone told me to open it and click the 3 vertical dots. The next time I looked someone had said NOT to ark and report it and then the menu had changed. I was unsure just what to d.o. Then I read NOT to delete them or mark them. I am confused. Maybe I will start with the video again. Now they are all deleted and I will have to wait for some more.

The best idea is to view the video that IJAC posted for you, Bill.
It explains the "best practices" on handling spam.
We know it can be confusing that's why he posted the video.
So when you are unsure, you can view it again.

I will now have to wait for more spam as I deleted all I had. It is only because when I expected to delete it the menu which offered a way to report it had changed. When I get another I will open it and see if there is a menu that offers a new choice of reporting it. I agree with opening and reporting but did not know how to do so. Maybe the video will help me. I have it saved on desktop.

When I first read how to report Spaam I opened the wrong set of dots-the one for Settings. Then the writer said there is another set of dots in the Spam mail. I tried it and saw "report Spam". But at hat time I had deleted it all. When I looked again the menu had changed. So I never tried this at all. Now I must wait until I HAVE a spam, then open it and see if a menu is there that 3 vertical dots open and IF it has a choice to Report spam then I can try it to see what happens. Right now I am waiting for Spam to appear so I can try and also watch the video to see if it has any tips. Apparently to report it I must First receive some then Open to see if a menu has that option. This may take some time but I am willing and waiting to try.

I believe his topic is straying from that which it started out to be so I am starting a new thread now.
