Have reformatted my 'new' computer and while the new speakers (Logitech S120) worked before the reformat, I've discovered that I don't have any actual software/drivers for them!

Went to the Logitech site and drat ... please see below:
    http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/439/606&hub=1&cl=us,en?section=downloads&tabs=1,3,2,4,5

If Logitech doesn't even have software/driver, guess the speakers are now useless?

    Thanks once again!

Mara if you are talking about some external speakers that you just plug in to the machine, there is no need for drivers.

Assuming they are in good working order the problem is probably with your sound device. Take a look at your device manager and make sure that there are no warnings near your sound controllers.

Also take a look in your control panel and make certain that the device is enabled.

Your Logitech Headset, is Plug and Play, Mara.
You will find your VOIP Software, has to be set, to accept Logitech headphones.
Go into settings and select Logitech in each box.
