Hello, I have a w2k server with IIS installed. I cannot reach the website
locally. It works fine remotely. But if enter (on the problem machine)
http://localhost or htt://127.0.0.1 I get "page cannot be displayed
    error"

I checked the host file and it look correct.... Can anyone point me in the
    right direction to fix ?
    Thanks

Bob - what is the IP address that the Web site you are referring to is
configured with? Is it its specific IP address or (All Unassigned)?

This is an IIS question, and there's a specific group for that, but let's take a look at it.

    Is it the default website?
Did you configure a hostheader on the site?
When you say remotely, do you mean from another machine or from a port remap from the internet?
How do you connect to it remotely?
Does it work from another machine?
If you configured a hostheader, does it work using the hostheader?
Did you configure a specific IP or 'any available IP?'

Is it the default website? Yes, and it is the only website.
Did you configure a hostheader on the site? yes
When you say remotely, do you mean from another machine or from a port remap
    from the internet? another machine
How do you connect to it remotely? www.bcsupernet.ca
Does it work from another machine? yes
If you configured a hostheader, does it work using the hostheader? yes
Did you configure a specific IP or 'any available IP?' currently "any
available" but have tried the IP as well.

    Thanks for the help !

    You are welcome, so far.

Because of the host header, you may have to always connect with it internally. If you remove the hostheader, it should work with localhost.
