    My network connection is as follows;
    Connection. Local Area Connection 2
    I'm only using one computer, one isp & i'm not using anything wireless. Is it normal for the number "2" to be there?

    No biggy Hap but at some point you probably replaced your local area connection and mayu not even have realized it but as long as it works as Dougie says the number doesn't matter.
