I got Mixcraft (A recording software) for me and my band to record are songs but every time I record it gets distorted and quieter half way through the recording. Ive seen Questions like this where people are having the same issue but they had to buy something for it (A Inverter i think). Im recording from my amp that is plugged into my computer but it also has the same problem when its not plugged in or im just talking into the mic please help i need this. and also it has the same problem with other programs/software to.

i will send a example if anyone needs its (a recording)

If you are getting distortion, turn the gain down at the mixing board. Make sure the signal
coming into mixcraft is not going into the red. Here's a quick video tutorial that should help.
