I have a lenovo laptop ideas pad with MS Windows 7. I have kaspersky installed for security but, since yesterday it won't download updates. I have had the laptop on for over two hours now and Kaspersky still tells me 0% and under that it says, Status: stopping.
i am at a loss as to what to do. The laptop gets used every day and has never behaved like this before. Any advice for an elderly technophobe?, Thanks in anticipation.

What version of Kaspersky are you using? Is it a full suite? Firewall?

How old is the program? Is it possible that it could have expired?

    Thanks
