"When hiring an accountant, only one question should ever be asked, and that question is, 'What is 2+2?' If the accountant answers anything other than '4', don't hire that person because that person is cleary stupid. If the accountant answers '4', don't hire that person, because that person is too smart. If the accountant answers, 'What do you want it to be?', hire them immedately!"

That's an abbreviated version of a joke I heard many years ago that went like this:

A firm was looking to hire an accountant. They had 3 prospects to interview.

The first was a graduate from a prestigious business school with 20 years of experience. The interviewer handed him a paper with a column of dollar figures and asked him what it added up to. The prospect glanced at the paper and said, "$3,123,418.17". The interviewer thanked him and told him they would get back to him.

The second was a graduate from a state university with 5 years experience. The interviewer handed him the same paper with the column of dollar figures and asked him what it added up to. The prospect reached in his briefcase and produced a calculator, pounded away furiously at it's keyboard for a couple of minutes then said, "$3,123,418.17". The interviewer thanked him and told him they would get back to him.

The third prospect had taken a class in Beginning Accounting at a local community college and the only work experience he had was that he had worked 6 months flipping burgers at McDonald's. The interviewer handed him the same paper with the column of dollar figures and asked him what it added up to. The prospect stared at the paper for 5 full minutes, scratching his head the whole time then finally asked, "What do you want it to add up to?". The interviewer jumped up and shook the 3rd prospect's hand and said, "You're hired!"

I have been in many places, but I've never been in Kahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Kahoots with someone.

I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.

I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and work.

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.

I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.

I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm. Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older.

One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenaline flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!

I may have been in Continent, but I don't remember what country I was in. It's an age thing. They tell me it is very wet and damp there.

One dark night a lady with a huge black eye stumbled into the police station. She said that she had heard a noise out on the back garden and had gone to investigate. The next thing she knew was that she had been hit hard in the face and had blacked out for a short time.
A police officer was sent to her home and returned later also sporting a black eye. "Did you get hit by the same attacker" asked the sergeant
"No sergeant, I didn't, I stepped on the same garden rake"

If you can't read music, you might not understand this one.
