Every time I start up my computer, ever sense about 4 months ago, I always have this error pop up.

I'm not exactly sure what deleted the .dll and I'm not sure what the .dll belonged to in the first place. I was just wondering if anybody had any idea's on maybe how to fix the error or find the program it belonged to.

Please I will be grateful for any help.

It's just a bit annoying that I try to keep up on cleaning my computer and make sure its protected, and these kind of things happen. ^_^

Hi Patrick.Welcome to Computer Help Forums.
4mths is a long time to have an issue and I doubt system restore would go back that far.
    You could try of course.
It has to do with a software program you have installed in the last 4 mths.
I suggest if you can remember what programs, uninstall one at a time till the popup stops.
Hope your not using a Registry Cleaner as they do more harm than good, normally.

I use Advanced SystemCare 5 and seems to have not caused me any issues other than this one. So I will in fact try to remember all the programs I have downloaded lately, but that is gonna be a tough one, sense I downloaded a lot of F2P MMO's. *Crys*

    But ty for your help.

    437297196.exe looks odd to me.

If you don't recognise this - Google comes up with nothing - then try deleting it.

    Follow the path:
    Computer > C:\ > arron > AppData > roaming
    Scroll down and locate 437297196.exe

    Try right click > Delete.

Does your system run OK otherwise?

    Hi Patrick

437297196.exe is almost certainly Malware related.
One of your security programs has probably removed the main file but didn't clean up the AppData\Roaming folder.

This is a program I would never recommend to anyone.
    It belongs to IOBit:
IOBit based in China is stealing and incorporating proprietary databases and intellectual property into their software.

This should give you a start.... all these programs are free.

    • Use an AntiVirus Software
      Note*:
Avira now includes the Ask.com Toolbar unless you choose not to install it. This means it is pre-checked by default and it is recommended that you uncheck that option during installation.

      Note**:
Upon installation MS Security Essentials will check that your OS is a legal copy.

      Only install one AntiVirus program
    • Update your AntiVirus Software regularly
    • Scan regularly with a 'Stand Alone' Anti-Malware scanner:
Installing another scanner that you can run once or twice a week is always beneficial.
      Something like:
      Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
      SUPERAntiSypware
Remember to update these programs each time before running.
You can install more than one of these if you only run them as stand alone programs.
    • Keep your system clean of temp files etc, using a 'Cleaner':

Cleaners are programs that will help to clean out your:
      Windows temp files
      Current user temp files
      Cookies
      Temporary Internet flies
      Browser history
      Recycle bin
      Etc.......
In other words.... all the rubbish that you accumalate over the course of your browsing and day to day usage of your pc.
      Programs like:
      TFC by OldTimer
      ATF Cleaner

I will add, do stay away from so called registry cleaners, to explain, the registry does not need to be cleaned, Windows looks after the registry in such a way that cleaning is not needed.
secondly, registry cleaners can actually do major harm, usually by removing vital registry keys, they may look harmless, but sometimes are an important part of the operating system, even if they appear to be an orphaned entry.

C.Cleaner is a useful cleaning tool if you come across it, but due to my warning as above, do not use the registry part of it.

This is why I never recommend using CCleaner.
It has too many options ( when only a simple cleaner is needed) and is unsafe in the hands of the inexperienced user.
Just my personal view on the program.

How true. In the beginning I wrecked my OS on two occassions using CCleaner as I was inexperienced.
I run Windows Disc Cleanup regularly instead of a Registry Cleaner and use SuperAntiSpyware for the bad cookies.
    Works well and is safe.

We seem to have deviated slightly from the original problem.

I am sure Patrick must be confused.

    Patrick
Did you try deleting the 437297196.exe from the Roaming folder?

I suggest Starbuck takes a look at the system to give you the all clear.

Actually by downloading Malwarebytes Anti-Malware I scanned and found the missing .dll file was actually a Malware or Trojan. (w/e it may have been called.)
And so after the scan was done I restarted my computer and poof it was no longer causing me grief.

TY VERY MUCH GUYS. YOU REALLY HELP ALOT! ^_^

    Hi Patrick

If you want a quick check on your system, then please follow the step below and copy/paste the 2 reports in a reply to this topic.

    • Download OTL to your desktop.
right click on the link and select 'Save Link/Target As'.

if you have problems, try this download link:
      OTL
    • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
    • When the window appears, underneath Output at the top change it to Minimal Output.
    • Check the boxes beside LOP Check and Purity Check
    .

    .
    .

Now copy the lines in bold below.

    netsvcs
    msconfig
    %SYSTEMDRIVE%\*.*
    %systemroot%\system32\Spool\prtprocs\w32x86\*.dll
    %systemroot%\*. /mp /s
    %systemroot%\system32\*.dll /lockedfiles
    %systemroot%\Tasks\*.job /lockedfiles
    %systemroot%\system32\drivers\*.sys /lockedfiles
    %systemroot%\system32\*.exe /lockedfiles
    %systemroot%\System32\config\*.sav
    %PROGRAMFILES%\*
    %USERPROFILE%\..|smtmp;true;true;true /FP
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU
    hklm\software\clients\startmenuinternet|command /rs
    hklm\software\clients\startmenuinternet|command /64 /rs
    CREATERESTOREPOINT

    • right click in the Custom Scans/Fixes window (under the blue bar) and choose Paste.

      .
      .
    • Click the Run Scan button.

    • Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
    • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
    • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time, and post them with your next reply.
