Issues with Internet Explorer after installing Updates

Just so for ppl just reading this and not come across me before you can see my journey to this point in this thread :

ok to the issues

The main one for me is Internet Explorer when I first Installed Win7 x64 (OEM) it it came with internet explorer 8 but somehow through updates I got IE 11 but it still wants to update to IE 11 when I go to program and features it is unticked and ticking and unticking does nothing another point is my CPU goes quite often to 100% and is slow also but not all the time. apart from that it seems ok just those updates. IE 11 works just fine or seems so I am using it as little as possible.

Trying the repairs using Tweaking.com Windows Repair (All In One)

nothing seems to help with it ..

if go all the way back with system restore I have all those updates to do again and it might happen again and not sure what happen if I put the disk back in and do a repair will I lose the activation (silly me activated it) so any help would be good.

You won't lose the activation Joker, and even if by chance that were to happen all you do is use the telephone activation method anyway.
After all the issues you have had you probably should run "chkdsk /r" on the hard drive as that sounds like what may be lagging on you.

(for chkdsk /r put check marks in both boxes)

ok chkdsk changed nothing so..

system restore or repair

unless someone has some other things I can try.

I attempted a system restore but got a power outage and was stuck at a black screen so but got my disc and booted from that got to the screen where it says install now and below that it says repair computer or something
found the installion currently doing a start up repair


how do you think i should go from here if it not work

EDIT: no it never worked i got message. windows cannot repair this computer automatically

Just did a re-install which was probably the only option so thanks again to all that looked will come back if any other trouble but for now all is good
