Is Windows 10's 29 July 2015 availability date realistic based on the current state of the OS?

    It is now official - Windows 10 will be available for Windows 7 and 8.1 users to download on 29 July 2015 so ready or not here it comes.

    That means there are less than 59 days left in the initial development cycle of Windows 10 and the question is will Windows 10 be ready by that time.

    In order to make the OS available for download on 29 July that means the final touches must be wrapped up in the code prior to that date.
