Irene Floods Us Northeast, Manhattan Spared The Worst

I cannot imagine what it would be like to have to weather such a storm. I would imagine insurance companies will do their level best not to pay out. Your thoughts?

Yeah I would bet my bottom dollar that insurance companies will try to avoid payouts on little clauses in the fine print at least for some odd cases, but I would think they will payout to the vast majority of people, I would have thought house & car insurance covers damage from natural disasters.

Obviously they try to avoid payouts generally people ripping off the system get paid and those with genuine claims have problems getting it, simply put we can't do without insurances like Life, Home and Car insurances, but we would love to get rid of it as it is generally a waste of money when you try to claim on it, sometimes it is probably so frustrating you wish you could kick the person on the other end of the phone in the knackers :argue: :snckr: , or whatever the equivalent is to women.

 

Insurance, did someone mention Insurance,

For the wealthy who can afford the premiums for the better policy's that will replace damaged property with the new equivalent without question, will be laughing, for others, however I bet they will end wondering why they bothered wasting the money, and those without Insurance you can only feel sorry for.

As always the wealthy will profit the poor will suffer.
