Downloding files on Internet Explorer 8 it times out before the file gets fully downloaded. Going through the "Tools" I cannot locate a way to resolve this.

What sort of internet connection do you have? (By that I mean type: for example DSL, Cable, Dialup etc?)
Are you using a wired or hard wired connection?

Also further to what BeeCeeBee has asked, are you getting any sort of "timed out" message?

From what I gather you are trying to download some sort of paid video converter?? Also what other types of downloads have been timing out? Try downloading a program that you know to be safe like the free versions of Malwarebytes or Superantispyware. and see if they give you any problems.

I am not sure where this time out is originating from, how long does it take before you get this message?
Also have you tried a different browser such as Firefox, that has its own download manager which has never given me a problem on any download.

hmmm, it might be the client, try downloading chrome, It's what I use and it takes up a tad more ram, meaning it is faster for you! :)

Your antivirus software may be conflicting with Internet Explorer during the download process. You can test this by temporarily disabling your
antivirus and attempting to download again. You may need to delete the temporary files on the computer as well as your internet temporary files.
If you are still having the download issue, you can may want to reset Internet Explorer. To reset Internet Explorer click on Tools and Internet
options. Select the Advanced tab and click on reset. Hit Apply and OK. See screenshots.....
