Install .Net framework via Remote Desktop

    Is it safe to install .Net 1.1 on a 2008 server via remote desktop?

    Or should this be done at the machine?

    Thanks,

    I want to run ExPBA and it tells me 1.1 isn't installed.

    I haven't done this on 2008, but I've done it on 2003 (and even 2000 IIRC)
    and it's been fine.
