In the website for Fototagger, http://www.fototagger.com/, one sees objects linked by lines to tags. In an example in TOUR : http://www.fototagger.com/home_users/product_tour/tag_image/, the lines are shown to have blue squares at either end. In THAT photo, those squares are quite useful. When using the software, the squares show, whether appropriate as in the TOUR picture, or inappropriate as would be in the website picture. 'How to remove those squares ?' has been asked in the Fototagger forum, years ago, with out an answer. I have written to the software vendors, but been unable to elicit a response. I'm looking for a simple suggestion to enhance the otherwise EXCELLENT program.

Normally I have a problem with new members coming on and making what I believe is a software recommendation which is tantamount to just being a spammer. I have looked at the links you provide and checked the software and believe it to be a legitimate program and that you are legitimately seeking some advice.

I can't give that advice but I will leave this post for anyone to answer and see how things go.

Hi Sebastian42 and a very happy welcome to you!

I've actually never used a photo annotate program - but after reading your post and doing a bit of on-line searching, think it's a great thing to have in my stash of 'freebies'

Took at look at what you're speaking of and can really understand why you want to "remove those squares"!

First, I suspect you've likely upgraded to their latest version - but just in case, here's a link to what their different version changes are (although sadly, nowhere does it mention a solution to those pesky squares, but perhaps they've fixed the woe).
    Difference between versions: http://www.softpedia.com/progChangelog/FotoTagger-Changelog-38313.html

Did a "similar to" search and I wonder if the below one be a suitable substitute if a solution to the squares within Tagger can't be found?

It's iPhotoDraw and free .... download is here: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/iphotodraw.html

There are many at this site who are more familiar with adding annotations to photos than I, I'm sure - and do hope one has a suggestion for fixing the existing hiccup within your present program.

Either way, would you please be kind enough to let us know if you find a solution?

Thanks ever so much and again, welcome to our Computer Help Forums, Sebastian42.

Photofiltre does this without the blue squares. Here is a Tutorial.
