if there has a single domain environment which have several DCs, if the
Global cataglog server DC has been removed ,the user still can login the
domain and get the resource? how about the domain administator account?

And in a forest structure ,what will happen?

  2. Hello luc,

The GC is not used during logon, so they can. Only if you use Universal groups
the Global catalog will be used for logon. So what you see is correct.

    Best regards
